Hall Effect switches use magnetic sensing rather than physical contact to detect key position throughout the entire travel range, enabling Rapid Trigger mode where the key registers actuation on any downward movement beyond a defined threshold and resets on any upward movement beyond a defined threshold — eliminating the dead zone inherent in conventional mechanical switches where the key must return to a fixed reset point before re-actuating.
